Sportsbet Bonus Series’ this Sydney Everest Carnival

Sportsbet Bet With Mates Bonus

The $2 million Sportsbet Bet With Mates Bonus is run during the NSW Spring Carnival over seven nominated sprint races.

The nominated races are the Concorde Stakes, The Shorts, Premiere Stakes, the Everest, Sydney Stakes, The Kosciuszko and Russell Balding Stakes.

For each race the points were allocated 5,4,3,2,1 for finishing first to fifth respectively for each qualifying race with the exception of the Russell Balding Stakes, with this race carrying double points.

Date Race Points on Offer
06-Sep-25 Concorde Stakes 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
20-Sep-25 The Shorts 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
4-Oct-25 Premiere Stks 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
18-Oct-25 The Everest 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
18-Oct-25 Sydney Stks 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
18-Oct-25 The Kosciuszko 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
1-Nov-25 Russell Balding Stks 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 (double points)

To be eligible for the bonus, horses need to contest a minimum of three of the seven races forming the series, or two races provided that these race starts are in one of the three qualifying races on Everest Day and the Russell Balding Stakes.

Finally, where an emergency is elevated into the field for the Everest from the Sydney Stakes, and finishes between 6th and 10th inclusive, that horse accumulates one point for the Sportsbet Bet With Mates Bonus.

The bonuses are paid to the top five eligible point-scorers as follows.

Finish Total
1st $1,000,000
2nd $500,000
3rd $250,000
4th $150,000
5th $100,000
Total $2,000,000

Sportsbet Multi Bonus

Horses qualify for the bonus by contesting any of the TAB Everest, Sydney Stakes or The Kosciuszko. If a horse does not run in any of the Everest, Sydney Stakes or The Kosciuszko, they aren’t qualified and do not receive a bonus if they finish in the top three placings in the Russell Balding Stakes.

The effect of the bonus is that horses coming from the Everest, Sydney Stakes or Kosciuszko are effectively racing for $4 million, other horses for $3 million.

Bonus Structure

For qualified horses, based on the finish in the Russell Balding Stakes.

Finish Total
1st $700,000*
2nd $200,000
3rd $100,000

* $1 million is paid if the horse wins both the Everest and the Russell Balding Stakes.
