Race 2, No 2: EDGE OF DARKNESS – Trainer Mark Newnham has advised the gelding underwent tie-back surgery since it last raced. It has since trialled on 3 occasions (at Warwick Farm 30/12/20, 16/4/21 and 30/4/21).

Race 2, No 8: VOLTERRA – The Chris Waller stable has advised the gelding underwent tie-back surgery since it last raced. It has since trialled on one occasion (at Warwick Farm 7/5/21).

Brodie Loy is indisposed and won’t be riding at Newcastle 18/5/21. The rider replacement is as follows:
