By John Schell

(Selections based on a soft track)

Race 1 - 1:15PM ALLIED THE CAREFUL MOVERS PROVINCIAL MAIDEN PLATE (1600M)

8. Literature Tycoon is lightly raced with the four starts to her name and she hasn’t been far away in any of them, the latest when fifth at this track when resuming from a spell. She’s drawn ideally in gate two and gets her chance to break through. 6. Share The Joy has had plenty of chances with six placings from 18 starts. She’s been placed in each of her latest three runs and another bold showing is on the cards. 1. Jed wasn’t beaten far when a last start placing at Wyong, and he could figure in the placings again. 9. Sun Beauty hasn’t managed to figure in the placings in each of her five starts but she could sneak into the money here with Tommy Berry aboard.

How to play it: Literature Tycoon WIN ($2.00 TAB Fixed Odds)

Race 2 - 1:50PM LIVING TURF MAIDEN PLATE (1200 METRES)

8. She Swings hit the line well when on debut at Warwick Farm to finish second behind La Roja. She came from well back in the field in that event. From The Peak has looked good winning each of her two trials and debuts here. She looks talented and is set to run boldly. 9. This looks within his capabilities. 5. Zizette won at this track before a last start second behind Nyota and a repeat of that would have her in the finish. 2. Matias debuted with a fifth in the same race Crown The King contested last time out and that looks good form for this. 5. Napoleonic was midfield at Warwick Farm on debut and should be better for that run, while 8. Daphnes comes out of a strong race and is worth thought.
