Cessnock Cup Day Moved To Newcastle Course Proper (Mon)

Due to the weather forecast of heavy rainfall of between 40 to 80mls over the next three days, an early decision has been made to transfer the Cessnock Cup meeting on Monday (26th October) from the Beaumont Track to the Newcastle Course Proper in an attempt to ensure that the Cessnock Cup meeting has every chance to proceed.

The moveable rail will be out 9m the entire circumference and field sizes remain unchanged, with the following distance amendments:

RACE 1 - CLASS 1 HANDICAP was 1150M is now 1200M
RACE 2 - F & M MAIDEN HANDICAP was 1150M is now 1200M
RACE 4 - CESSNOCK CUP was 2100M is now 1900M

All other races are unchanged.
