Word For Word Examined By Vet (Entered Randwick, Sat)
A veterinary examination of Word For Word (Race 5, No.2 at Royal Randwick on Saturday) conducted this morning by Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. Toby Koenig has revealed the mare to be lame and exhibiting soreness in the near hind foot.
A further examination to determine the mare's suitability to race will be conducted prior to scratching time on Saturday morning.
