Updates - Canterbury Park (Tonight) & Warwick Farm (Sat) Race Meetings

Racing NSW Stewards will today - commencing at 11am - conduct inspections of Rosehill Gardens and Warwick Farm racecourses to ascertain their suitability to conduct the race meeting scheduled for Saturday at Warwick Farm. An update of the tracks follows:

Warwick Farm
Track Rating: Heavy 9
40mm rainfall last 23hrs at 8am
72mm rainfall last 7 days

Rosehill Gardens
Track Rating: Heavy 9
41mm rainfall last 24hrs at 7:30am
69mm rainfall last 7 days

Further, should Saturday’s meeting is required to be transferred to Rosehill Gardens, Racing NSW Stewards have confirmed that races 4 and 9 WILL be conducted over 1000m. The 1000m start will be from the 1200m chute with approximately a 170m run to the first turn. Note races 6 and 8 will be reduced from 1600m to 1500m. No other distance changes are required.

31mm rainfall last 24 hours at 6:30am, with a further 25mm since 6:45am
95mm rainfall last 7 days

NOTE: Due to a further 25mm of rain falling on the course since 6:45am, the track for tonight’s meeting has been downgraded to a Heavy 9. Stewards will continue to monitor conditions and conduct a further inspection at 2pm.
