Update On Golden Eagle Runners – Osipenko Under Veterinary Scrutiny
Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Peter Curl has advised Racing NSW Stewards that all runners in the James Squire Golden Eagle have undergone veterinary scrutiny and have been cleared to run, except for OSIPENKO.
Dr Curl reported that OSIPENKO is currently exhibiting some lameness in the near foreleg which is being managed as a foot issue.
A further examination of the horse will be conducted on Saturday morning to assess its suitability to race.
