Saturday's Postponed Races Rescheduled To Newcastle (Monday)

Following consultation with jockeys, and after further heavy rainfall today between races 1 and 3, Racing NSW and the Australian Turf Club decided, due to the significant safety risks for both jockeys and horses, to postpone the final seven races at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.

Racing NSW and the Australian Turf Club believe the best option after consultation with participants is to reprogram the seven postponed races to Newcastle Racecourse on Monday (28 March 2022).

All horses that were scratched will be reinstated.

There will also be some variations in race distances which are as follows:

• The Group 1 $500,000 Vinery Stud Stakes will be run over 1850m

• The Group 2 $200,000 Yarraman Park Tulloch Stakes will be run over 1850m

All other distances remain the same as today’s program.
