Talbragar Has Been Withdrawn From The Kosciuszko
Trainer Cody Morgan has this afternoon notified Racing NSW Stewards that Talbragar will not take its place in The Kosciuszko at Royal Randwick on Saturday, 14 October 2023.
Mr Morgan advised that the horse worked this morning when fitted with an approved heart rate monitor which identified a possible heart irregularity.
He further advised that an ECG was performed on the horse this afternoon by his stable veterinarian in the presence of Racing NSW Veterinary Officer Dr Rose Bensley.
This ECG test confirmed the horse to be displaying cardiac arrhythmia.
Wagering operators are requested to remove Talbragar from The Kosciuszko betting market.
