Race 2, No.1 - COOL AND CALM: Trainer Brad Widdup reported the gelding has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone chip from its near fore knee. The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 24/7/23 and 4/8/23).
Race 6, No.2 - DISONEY: Trainer Richard Litt reported the gelding has undergone surgery to remove a bone chip from its near fore knee since its last race start. The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 24/7/23 and 4/8/23).

ROYAL RANDWICK (Saturday 19th August)
Race 2, No.7 - MISS KIRRIBILLI: Trainer Tim Donnelly reported the mare has undergone surgery to remove bone chips from both its near fore fetlock and near knee since its last race start (26 November 2022). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Albury 19/7/23 and Gundagai 8/8/23).
Race 8, No.5 - FRANCESCO GUARDI: The Chris Waller stable reported the gelding has undergone arthroscopic surgery on its near fore fetlock since its last race start (22nd October 2022). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 24/7/23 and 4/8/23).
