More than 52,100 owners have watched their horses on course in Sydney throughout the racing year – beating the previous mark by 28%.

Australian Turf Club Head of Racing and Wagering, Nevesh Ramdhani thanked all owners, racing participants and ATC supporters for the 2023/24 season.

“The strength of Sydney racing and record prizemoney continues to attract record numbers of owners at our meetings across the year," Mr Ramdhani said.

“Owners are a crucial stakeholder to the growth of our racing, and the raceday experience and its continual improvement is a focus for the ATC.

“We look forward to welcoming new and more owners as we head towards a new racing season and the upcoming Spring Carnival."
