Punter's Intelligence Wrap - Randwick 13th July

In Flight showed her customary late strength to run over the top of her rivals and make it four wins out of five starts this preparation.

The filly started a rock-solid favourite in the Benchmark 72 event over 1100m, and she ran slick time relative to the day and did it with style.

She chased a genuine speed, built momentum and surged over the top of her rivals; with Punter's Intelligence recording, she clocked the meeting's second-fastest final 200m in 12.06.

She is ready to make the step-in grade and has the potential to improve again.

Flag Hall was brave in defeat after leading up his rivals, running the first 500m in 29.41, and he stuck on well while the other on-pacers faded.

Kadall was run to suit, but he ran on well, clocking the meeting's fourth fastest final 600m in 35.15. He will only benefit from this effort and extra ground suits.

Wanaruah had first use of the track, but even after adjustments, he ran fast time and did it on both ends.

The two-year-old ran 1:25.59 for his overall time, approximately 1.5 lengths quicker than the Benchmark 78 event (1400m) and 2.5-3 lengths faster than the Benchmark 88 (1400m).

He is a nice type with key attributes, and continue to follow him.

Charming Legend's win was full of merit after being 31 days between runs, up in distance and having to sit outside the lead in a genuine pace.

He built into it well, held off the late challengers and clocked one of the race's fastest final 200m sections in 12.79.

Further, his overall time of 1:39.62 was a tick faster than the Benchmark 78 Handicap (1600m) and six lengths quicker than the TAB Highway (1600m). He has a bright future and will only improve with time.

Hellavadancer and Mascaret profile to both peak next start, and they come through the Benchmark 78 event over 1600m.

Hellavadaner should've finished much closer after being held up for most of the straight, but once clear, he hit the line well to finish second and clock the fifth fastest final 200m split of the meeting.

He has won third-up in his past two preparations and will be suited in a similar grade.

Mascaret was back in distance, days between runs and exerted too much energy between the 800m-200m before peaking on her run. She clocked the race's quickest split for that section in 34.99. She will be suited up in distance.

The money was spot on for Cranky Harry after he was heavily backed throughout the week and on race day to win the TAB Highway (1600m).

Nash Rawiller took luck out of the equation with the hoop rolling forward on the gelding, took complete control, bolted in by over three lengths and eased him down prior to the line. He ran the meeting's fastest final 200m in 12.05.

Fastest last 600m: Cinematic Star 34.84
