Kopi Luwak Withdrawn From Country Championships Final

Kopi Luwak - Withdrawn from Country Championships Final

Trainer Mr Danny Williams has today advised Racing NSW Stewards that Kopi Luwak has sustained bruising to both front feet and has developed an abscess on the near-fore foot which has burst. Mr Williams has advised that Veterinarian Dr David Garth has certified the horse is unfit to take its place in the Country Championships final to be conducted at Royal Randwick on 7 April 2018. Accordingly Kopi Luwak has been withdrawn from the event.

Third placegetter in the SERA Qualifier Acquittal now gains a start in the final. Mr Williams has advised that Acquittal will be withdrawn from the Country Championships Wild Card to be conducted a Muswellbrook on Sunday 1 April 2018.
