Giga Kick Withdrawn From The Everest

Trainer Clayton Douglas has notified Racing NSW Stewards that Giga Kick will not contest The Everest on 14 October 2023 and will be spelled.

Mr Douglas advised that subsequent to Giga Kick’s first up run on 9 September 2023, it had been identified that the horse had sustained an injury to its near hind leg and that, acting on veterinary advice, it had been decided to end its current campaign and spell the horse.

Wagering operators are requested to remove Giga Kick from all feature race betting markets for the Sydney Spring Carnival.
