Gear Clarification - As You Were (Kembla-Thurs & Randwick-Sat)
Racing NSW Stewards wish to clarify the gear to be worn by AS YOU WERE (trainer Bryce Heys) which has been accepted to race at both Kembla Grange (Thursday 27th July) and at Royal Randwick (Saturday 29th July).
A gear change was approved on Wednesday morning for Blinkers ON (first time), however, this gear change will only apply should the gelding race at Randwick on Saturday where it is an acceptor in Race 7 (Godolphin Lifetime Care Handicap, 1100m).
Should AS YOU WERE race at Kembla Grange on Thursday where it is an acceptor in Race 7 (Charcoal Creek Benchmark 64 Handicap, 1200m) then the gear change is NOT approved for this race meeting.
