Celestial Legend Spelling For Three Months

Further to reports in the media this morning, owners Legend Racing confirmed that Celestial Legend has suffered a minor bone bruise in the foot which requires up to three (3) months rest and all things going well, will return in readiness for the 2025 Autumn Carnival.

This being the case, Celestial Legend will not be competing in this week’s 2024 James Squire Golden Eagle at Rosehill Gardens nor the Longines Hong Kong Mile (G1) at Sha Tin as originally planned.

During his recovery, Celestial Legend will of course be provided with the best care and attention to ensure he will return to the impressive form which saw him win the ATC Group Ones Doncaster Mile and Randwick Guineas as well as the Group 2-Hobartville Stakes earlier this year.
