Star mare Winx tuned up for next Saturday’s George Ryder Stakes with an exhibition gallop between races at Rosehill.

With Hugh Bowman in Melbourne riding Spieth in the Newmarket Handicap for Warwick Farm-based trainer Bryce Heys, it was Kerrin McEvoy who warmed the seat.
Winx galloped steadily over 1000m before McEvoy slipped her more reign over the final 600m where she recorded 34.61s.
