Vet Updates For Rising Red & Rock And Swing (Rosehill Sat)

Please see below additional veterinary updates for horses engaged at Saturday’s Rosehill Gardens meeting.

Rising Red: Tulloch Stakes, 2000m Co-trainer Trent Busuttin has advised that Rising Red was found to be mildly lame again after working this morning and consequently has been withdrawn from Saturday’s Tulloch Stakes. Mr Busuttin advised Rising Red is unlikely to take its place in the ATC Derby and will advise Racing NSW Stewards once a firm decision is made.

Rock And Swing: Tulloch Stakes 2000m Racing NSW Stewards have been advised that Rock And Swing was found to have sustained minor swelling to both forelegs after working Tuesday morning, due to a suspected bandage rub. Rock And Swing is to be subject to precautionary scans on Friday morning the results of which will be reported to the Stewards. Rock and Swing will be examined by Racing NSW's Senior Official Veterinarian, Dr Craig Suann, on Friday afternoon.
