Vale Mr Steve White (Photographer)

Racing NSW is saddened to report the passing of racing photographer, Mr Steve White aged 75.

Mr White was a well-known and much liked figure around the racetracks, especially at Royal Randwick where he worked during a period for Australian Turf Club.

Steve had previously worked at Channel Nine, ACP and SBS with a passion for photojournalism and wildlife photography.

Mr White also enjoyed travelling having completed the trek to Base Camp in the Himalayas.

Steve was battling a long-term illness and succumbed a few weeks ago in Hornsby Hospital.

The Racing Industry's condolences go out to Steve's family and many friends.
