Vale Mr Peter Lynch (Funeral Details)

Sadly, Peter Lynch passed away on Sunday, 8 September 2019, after a long battle with cancer.

Peter, 81, trained horses for 60 years and prepared hundreds of winners throughout NSW.

Peter started in the stables with Morrie Anderson in the 1950s and began training on his own in the 1960s at Coffs Harbour then Port Macquarie, Gosford, Rosehill and more recently Cessnock.

His favourite horses were Stormy Rebel, Macdrop (won at 100/1 at Randwick) and Frosty Footsteps, a multiple city winner.

Peter is survived by his partner Jenelle Shapter, children Michael, Cheryl, Angela and Mary, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to St Marys Catholic Church, Noraville at 12.30pm on Tuesday 17 September, followed by the burial at Noraville Cemetery before heading back at Toukley RSL for refreshments and a celebration of Peters life.
