Vale Debbie Moore

The racing industry is saddened to note the sudden passing of Debbie Moore.

Debbie spent some 20 years working in and around the racing industry in a number of roles, most notably as a Racing NSW Betting Supervisor at many racetracks throughout NSW for some 10 years.

Working mostly at the Sydney Metropolitan and Provincial racetracks, Debbie was also the betting supervisor and a familiar friendly face at country tracks, most notably Nowra and Goulburn.  She also regularly travelled to work at annual Country carnivals including Scone and Grafton.

With her camera in hand, Debbie was also the driving force behind the inaugural Jockey’s Trust Female Jockey Calendar, which she devoted her own time to developing to raise money for the National Jockey’s Trust and in support of female jockeys.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will take place on Tuesday, 18 September 2018 at Woronora South Chapel, Woronora Crematorium, Sydney, at 2pm. All welcome.
