Josh Parr’s Riding of Roheryn (Rosehill, 17 November)

Racing NSW Stewards have now received requested information in respect to an inquiry opened into licensed jockey Josh Parr’s riding of Roheryn in Race 1 (2019 Membership Sprint Handicap, 1100m) conducted at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, 17 November 2018. The Stewards inquiry is scheduled to resume at 12:15pm on Saturday, 8 December 2018 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

Trainer Benjamin Smith Inquiry - Adjourned

Racing NSW Stewards have now received all analytical results in respect to exhibits obtained from Newcastle trainer Benjamin Smith on 11 September 2018, in addition to the certified findings from two Official Racing Laboratories that the following samples have had cobalt detected at elevated levels.

1. N214589 – Iron Duke Newcastle 25 August 2018 (Raceday sample)
2. N206587 – Elaborate Wyong 26 August 2018 (Raceday sample)
3. N214994 – El Dorado Dreaming Newcastle 11 September 2018 (Non-raceday sample)
4. N214986 – Tabrobane Newcastle 11 September 2018 (Non-raceday sample)

NOTE: Racing NSW Stewards have acceded to a request from solicitor, Paul O’Sullivan, to adjourn the Stewards inquiry scheduled for Monday, 10 December 2018, involving licensed trainer Benjamin Smith, to a date to be fixed.
