Upcoming Stewards Inquiries

Trainer Mr Grant Allard

Licensed trainer Mr Grant Allard has been charged with a breach of AR48, in that he failed to fully disclose, and obtain consent for, a benefit that he is alleged to have received (and was to receive subject to certain performance criteria) for the sale of the racehorse I Am Moses in 2018.

The hearing of the charge will be conducted at 9am on Friday 11 October 2019 at the Offices of Racing NSW level 11 51 Druitt Street.

Analysts Findings – Majella Newcastle 6 July 2019

Racing NSW Stewards have been provided with the certified findings from two Official Racing Laboratories that a post-race sample taken from Majella, after being placed second in Race 1 – Maiden Plate 1400m at Newcastle on 6 July 2019 was found to contain a metabolite of acepromazine.

An inquiry into the findings is scheduled to be conducted at the Offices of Racing NSW level 11 51 Druitt Street commencing at 2pm on Monday 14 October 2019, whereby trainer Mr Matthew Smith has been requested to attend.
