Newcastle Jockey Club is set for another successful afternoon of twilight racing at Broadmeadow on Saturday (4th February) with the opening race at 2:19pm (last at 6:40pm).

A strong eight-race card is programmed locally for punters to enjoy with quality racing to complement the racing action from around Australia.

Smooth acoustic tunes will be played by Howard Shearman outside the Ascot Bar from 2pm to 7pm. Gates open at 12pm with general admission just $12 and concessions $3.

NJC Spring Stakes at Royal Randwick The Group 3 Newcastle Jockey Club Trainer Connections Spring Stakes will be held at Royal Randwick on Saturday February 11, over 1600m worth $150,000. Due to the recent $11.2 million upgrade of the Newcastle course proper, this regular spring feature at Broadmeadow had to be rescheduled and coincides with day 2 of The Star Chinese Festival of Racing.
