Trainer Reports To Stewards - Word Games - Canterbury (Wednesday)

Co-Trainer Edward Cummings has advised that Word Games, which is engaged in Race 4, trod on a nail yesterday afternoon, requiring minor treatment to its near hind hoof.

Mr Cummings advised Word Games undertook light exercise work this morning and was subsequently examined by the stable veterinarians who were satisfied with the condition of Word Games.

A veterinary clearance will be required prior to Word Games being permitted to race.

Furthermore, if a veterinary clearance is provided from the stable, Word Games will be inspected by RNSW vets when the horse arrives on course tomorrow.
