Trainer Reports To Stewards - Up Cups (Randwick, Saturday)

Trainer Ms Rhonda Mangan has advised Racing NSW Stewards that Up Cups has passed a veterinary inspection this morning by the stable veterinarian.

Up Cups shall be inspected by Racing NSW Senior Official Veterinarian Dr Craig Suann when it arrives on course today.

Update on Friday (6th April)
Racing NSW Stewards this afternoon have been advised that Up Cups, an acceptor in Race 5 (Schweppes Chairman’s Quality) at Royal Randwick tomorrow, sustained an abrasion to the near side stifle after being kicked by another horse at the track this morning.

Up Cups has been inspected by veterinarian Dr Gary Baitz, who has advised the horse is not lame and has no swelling in the region. Up Cups will be examined again tomorrow morning and should it be passed fit to start, will also be examined by Racing NSW Senior Official Veterinarian, Dr Craig Suann, when it arrives on course.
