Trainer Reports To Stewards – Nakeeta Jane & Lanciato
Please be advised that trainer Mark Newnham has reported the following to Racing NSW Stewards.
Nakeeta Jane: Has sustained an injury to the near fore fetlock and will not race during the Spring Carnival. A further assessment in respect to the mare’s racing future will be conducted once the results of additional x-rays are available.
Lanciato: Was found to have bled from both nostrils during trackwork this morning and will incur a three-month embargo from racing. Accordingly, Lanciato will not race during the Spring Carnival.
All wagering operators are expected to remove both horses from feature race markets.
