Trainer Joseph Hodgson Injured In Trackwork Accident (Update)

Coonamble Trainer Joseph Hodgson sustained an injury to his L1 vertebrae during a trackwork accident on Wednesday morning. He has feeling in his limbs and has been airlifted to Tamworth Hospital for treatment.

Update at 7pm on Wednesday (31st May 2017): Racing NSW's Dr Tim Musgrove reported a CT Scan confirmed Joseph sustained a fracture to the L2 vertebrae and is neurologically stable. He has been admitted under an Orthopaedic Surgeon for pain relief and has been mobilising/walking with the Emergency Physician at Tamworth Hospital.
