Stewards To Inspect Santos (Breeders' Plate) At Randwick (Sat)
Co-trainer Adrian Bott has advised Racing NSW Stewards that Santos, which is accepted to start in the Arrowfield Breeders' Plate on Saturday, over-reached whilst being exercised this afternoon and sustained a minor laceration to its near-fore heel, for which it has been treated and a protective bandage applied.
Mr Bott advised no lameness in the leg has been observed. Santos will be examined by Racing NSW Veterinarians when it arrives on-course at Royal Randwick tomorrow.
