Trainer Mr Ron Quinton – Imanui Racing NSW Stewards have been provided with the certified findings from two official racing laboratories confirming the detection of cobalt at a level above that excepted by AR178C(1)(l) of 100ug/l in the pre-race urine sample taken from the Ron Quinton-trained Imanui prior to being placed 4th in Race 9 (Benchmark 80 Handicap) at the Rosehill Gardens meeting on Saturday, 12 August 2017. On Tuesday, 22 August 2017, Racing NSW Stewards advised Mr Quinton of the irregularity which was confirmed yesterday with certification that the reserve portion of the sample was found to contain a level of cobalt above that excepted by AR178C(1)(l). Stewards are awaiting the results of analysis of additional feed and supplements taken from Mr Quinton’s stable and an inquiry into the findings will be conducted at a time and date to be fixed.

Trainer Mr Peter Green – Danshari Racing NSW Stewards have been provided with the certified findings from two official racing laboratories confirming the detection of frusemide in a blood sample taken from the Peter Green-trained Danshari when it barrier trialled at Warwick Farm on 14 August 2017, to pass a one nose bleeding embargo. An inquiry into the analyst’s findings has been scheduled to be conducted at the offices of Racing NSW, Level 11, 51 Druitt Street, Sydney commencing at 1pm on Tuesday, 26 September 2017.
