Stewards Invoke Level 2 Hot Weather Policy For Wagga (Monday)

With the temperature for the Wagga region predicted to reach a top of 40 degrees on Monday (9th January), trainers and participants are advised that Racing NSW Stewards have invoked Level 2 protocols in the Racing NSW 'Racing in Hot Weather Policy' for the Wagga (Riverside) race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Monday.

As a consequence horses are not required on course until one hour prior to the relevant race as opposed to the usual 90 minutes. Pre and post-race parades will also be shortened/abandoned.

Stewards will continue to monitor the forecasts over the next few days.
