Stewards Inspect Trangie (Scheduled To Race Saturday)

Racing NSW Stewards on Wednesday inspected Trangie Racecourse which is due to stage a race meeting this Saturday (18th March).

After close to 90mls of rain being received, Stewards found a number of sections (1000m, 800m, 300m, 50m) to contain surface water and to be extremely heavy. The remainder of the course was very heavy and unsafe for racing at this stage.

However, favourable weather forecasts have been predicted and stewards and race club officials will inspect the track again on Friday to determine its suitability for racing.
