A pivotal lead-up to a sought-after early Sydney spring Group 1 and a stellar clash of sprint stars are just two highlights of another spectacular upcoming Saturday at Rosehill Gardens.
A week before the official start of the $81 million Sydney Everest Carnival, the $300,000 Group 2-Yulong Run To The Rose brings together a crack field of three-year-olds heading towards the $1m Gr 1-Yulong Golden Rose in a fortnight.
Saturday’s 10-race card includes three other Group races – the $300,000 Gr 2-Irresistible Pools Sheraco Stakes, $300,000 Gr 2-Toyota Forklifts Theo Marks Stakes and $250,000 Gr 3-Chandon Ming Dynasty Quality.

A capacity field in the Yulong Run To The Rose includes the return of Group 1 winner Nepotism for Hawkes Racing and jockey Tyler Schiller, up against a host of talented horses in the feature.
The Toyota Forklifts Theo Marks Stakes sees the boom unbeaten mare Autumn Glow a strong favourite for trainer Chris Waller and jockey Kerrin McEvoy.
And the $300,000 Irresistible Pools Sheraco Stakes includes two of the nation’s best multiple Group 1-winning mares in Joliestar (Waller and Zac Lloyd) and Stefi Magnetica for the Bjorn Baker and Rachel King combination.
Australian Turf Club Head of Racing and Wagering, Nevesh Ramdhani said the depth and quality of Saturday’s fields had continued over recent weeks ahead of the Sydney Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens.
“Many of the big spring stars continue their preparations into coming weeks and Saturday features some exciting clashes," Mr Ramdhani said.
“The Yulong Run To The Rose field is stacked with some of Australia’s best three-year-olds who are also heading towards major Group 1s."
Raging Force – a winner of four from five starts for trainer Peter Snowden – is the $3.10 TAB favourite with Zac Lloyd aboard in the Yulong Run To The Rose ahead of Wodeton (Waller/Jason Collett) at $5 and Tempted (Maher/Ethan Brown) at $5.50.
Skyhook ($8.50) for Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou and jockey Kerrin McEvoy add further depth along with Nepotism at $11.
In the Toyota Forklifts Theo Marks Stakes, Autumn Glow is a raging $1.80-$1.55 favourite to win the biggest race of her short career.
Her stablemate Joliestar – looking to launch into another TAB Everest campaign – is a $2.25 favourite in the Irresistible Pools Sheraco Stakes ahead of the Hawkes Racing runner Gangster Granny ($3.30) for Tyler Schiller.
