She Will Reign – Requirement To Gallop Before Stewards
Please note trainer Gary Portelli has reported to Racing NSW Stewards that She Will Reign was found to have blood present in one nostril when inspected at the stables on the afternoon of Saturday, 11 August 2018.
Mr Portelli advised the results of a lung wash performed on the mare yesterday will be available later today to ascertain if the blood present was as a result of external trauma.
Mr Portelli was informed that She Will Reign will be required to gallop satisfactorily before the Stewards and require a veterinary clearance prior to its next race start.
