Racing NSW Local Rules of Racing - Effective 1 July 2019
The Racing NSW Board has approved the following Local Rules of Racing, effective 1 July 2019:
- LR41A – Restricting a horse from racing in no more than 5 races in a 30-day period.
- LR41(3) – Requiring horses that haven’t raced or barrier trialled for more than 12 months to barrier trial before racing.
- LR47B - Requiring trainers to declare riders for barrier trials by no later than 1pm the day before a barrier trial.
- LR47C – Requiring trainers to scratch a horse by 7:30am for metropolitan & provincial trials and 8am for county trials.
