Partridge On A High After Rising Star Win
Mollie Partridge has celebrated her first Rising Star win this series, taking out heat 16 at Coffs Harbour.
A well-timed run saw Mollie score a narrow victory with Pomme Petite for trainer Barry Ratcliff. Jets Cracker (Carla Dougherty), Seven Ten Split (Jesse Graham) and Foxy Walk (Jodi Worley) all finished within half a length behind.
This is the second year in a row Mollie has won the Coffs Harbour heat.
Mollie has moved to equal 5th in the series with Matthew McGillivray and Nick Heywood.
Nyssa Burrells maintains a 2 point lead with 22 points, ahead of Mikayla Weir (20), Blaike McDougall (18) and Andrew Adkins (17).
The Series heads to Warwick Farm on Wednesday, 1 March.
