Notification Of Analyst’s Findings - Oriental Runner

Racing NSW Stewards are in receipt of certification from two Official Racing Laboratories, namely the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory and Racing Analytical Services Limited, that the post-race urine sample taken from the Gary Neale-trained Oriental Runner after winning Race 6 (Benchmark 68 Handicap, 1200m) conducted at Illawarra Turf Club’s meeting at Kembla Grange on 27 January 2018, has been found to contain methylamphetamine and its metabolites.

An inquiry into the findings of both laboratories has been scheduled to be conducted at 11am on Thursday, 29 March 2018 at the offices of Racing NSW, Druitt Street, Sydney.
