Please be advised that the $150,000 NJC Spring Stakes will be held at Royal Randwick over 1600m on Saturday 11 February 2017.

Due to the current upgrade of the Newcastle course proper, this regular Spring feature at Broadmeadow has been rescheduled.

Details for the race are as follows:

ROYAL RANDWICK – 11/02/2017 – NJC 3YO SPRING STAKES (1600 METRES) Of $150,000. 1st $84,750, 2nd $28,500, 3rd $13,500, 4th $6,750, 5th $3,750, 6th $2,250, 7th $2,250, 8th $2,250, 9th $2,250, 10th $2,250, Equine Welfare Fund $1,500. Group 3.

No class restriction, Set Weights, Three-Years-Old, No sex restriction. Set Weights - Colts and Geldings 56.5kgs, Fillies 54.5kgs. If a ballot is required it will be done on total prizemoney (not including any bonuses). If equal then by benchmark, if still equal then by lot. Apprentices cannot claim.
