Track Soft 6 and rail true:
Race 1 - 1:00PM FORBES CG&E MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES) |
---|
2. Everybody Rise is a talented four-year-old trained on the track and looks ready fresh off a 32 week spell, and finding preferable soft ground. Never out of the placings in three solid closing runs last prep, and was good through the line in the second of two heavy track metro trials. Only missed a place twice from eight starts, comes to hand sharply and drawn to get to the outside where he’s at his best. 8. Hereward is a promising three-year-old resuming since late autumn for just his third outing. Likely to jump favourite, tuned up with a solid city trial, and thrives in rain-affected going. 4. Narcissist is a very lightly raced five-year-old, and big betting watch resuming off a sound trial. Gap to the rest headed by 6. Disparate who has been given seven weeks since an even debut here, and having been preferred here to Canterbury on Wednesday, can improve on softer ground.

Race 2 - 1:35PM PAUL "GRIFFO" GRIFFIN MEMORIAL F&M MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES) |

7. Hellabella is a game filly who was only run down late by the stablemate after leading first-up at Gosford. Bound to improve given that was only her second start since early March, and there were some smart fillies who finished behind her that day. The more the track slips into softer range, the better placed she is. 3. Jellicious is the immediate threat resuming off a long break and two trials for the top trainer and jockey combination. Lightly raced and competitive up to Group 3 level last spring. 1. Call Me Sassy is a mare by Zoustar, and market watch on debut for the David Pfieffer stable behind a soft trial. 6. Fullalove returning for a second prep off two improving trials heads the rest.
How to play it: Hellabella to win
Race 3 - 2:10PM REDBANK NORTH RICHMOND PROVINCIAL MAIDEN HANDICAP (1500M) |

5. Shadashi made a mockery of her long price first-up at Newcastle when charging home from the back behind only the winner on a very chopped up surface. Trained here, bred to relish rain-affected going, and gets good weight relief after the jockey’s claim in a race that lacks depth. 2. Almonzo ran home okay on debut into a place in that same race as the top selection, and extra furlong is a plus, although under the odds. 3. Dashing Double is a home tracker who ran well above his long price 12 days when returning for only his second start. 6 The Iron Star drawn the fence and improving third-up, and at longer odds 7. Prefer Diamonds also third-up and trained on the track, both go in exotic plays.
How to play it: Shadashi to win
Race 4 - 2:50PM THE BACHMAYER ORTHODONTIC CLINIC SUPER MAIDEN (1300 METRES) |

10. Cool Drinks is an emerging metropolitan three-year-old who represents terrific value in a very open race, resuming for only his second start. Did his best work late from the back on debut at Wyong in early winter, bred to relish the going, and from a draw where he can settle well back with cover, watch for him charging late. 4. Andale Andale is a well touted country mare by All Too Hard finally making her debut off two winning trials. Significant gear changes in play, and has been held back to find the right race. Naturally boasts plenty of ability, and already shown a real liking for wet ground at the trials. 2. My Proclaima is an improving metro mare and over the odds heading into her third start. 3. Onmalone showed great speed to lead fresh at Newcastle before folding up late, but fitter now and can give another big sight. 7. Master Of The Air is a key market watch resuming from a low draw for only his third start for the Waller-McDonald combination, and behind two improving trials. 1. Above The Law has beaten all but the winner in two on-speed runs to start his career for a leading city stable, although a market watch given this is tougher and he’s drawn wide. Include 5. The Pearls second-up in wider exotic plays.
How to play it: Cool Drinks to win
Race 5 - 3:25PM RICHMOND CLUB CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1600 METRES) |
---|
1. Andron is a lightly raced and progressive metro four-year-old who has this at his mercy, dropping in class. Swept home for a strong provincial win on debut in very heavy going before ridden quieter from a wide gate in a BM 72 on the Kensington track and motored home into a place, despite over-racing for much of the trip. The one to beat getting to the mile. 5. Precinct tracked the speed before going home best in an average country super maiden. Loves the going, and carries 1kg less here. 2. Rebel Rhapsody is sparingly raced and gets blinkers back on; while 4. Dolce Dior resumes off a trial win from the inside draw.
How to play it: Andron to win
Race 6 - 4:05PM DENTAVISION BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (2000 METRES) |

5. Brok Cafe can be hard to catch, but is a talented country mare well placed second-up over further off a six week break. Ran home well a fortnight ago against similar opposition, and has built a sound strike rate from 13 starts, including two from two on heavy. She will enjoy the long run home here, and is good value in a very open race. 2. Clubman is sparingly raced, and working towards a third career win. Has only ground home in two heavy track runs this prep, but the step up sharply to this distance is a big plus. 8. Empire Of Art is second-up off a seven week let-up, and drawn to get the sweet run just off the speed with cover. 4. Alabama Blitz will also relish the longer trip after charging home late to win a CL1 at Newcastle on a bog surface. 3. Marsabit is a tough and fit campaigner who has beaten all but the winner in his last two, the latest at metro BM 72 level when working home strong from midfield. Gap to the rest.
How to play it: Brok Cafe to win
Race 7 - 4:40PM BLOSSOM HAIR, BODY, FACE & WIG BOUTIQUE BM64 (1400 METRES) |
---|
6. Socrazyinlove is a progressive city mare who powered home to win a country CL1 first-up since late autumn when tackling Saturday metro races in Brisbane. Naturally tougher here in a very open race, but she has superior scope, and the wetter the track becomes the better placed she is. 2. Mirra Impact comes off a tough closing second-up provincial win against similar opposition as a well back favourite, and drawn to get cover. 3. Le Mans is a lightly raced mare and big market watch resuming for her first outing for the Victorian stable’s new Rosehill base behind two quiet trials. Watch the betting too on 4. Khumbila up in trip off a sound closing effort at Gosford under a big weight. 1. Bernen Win is trained on the course and right in the mix second up since autumn over a furlong further. 7. Forbidden Riff third-up, and 12. Tong Ho, and improving three-year-old, are both capable of running into the minor money.
How to play it: Socrazyinlove to win
Race 8 - 5:20PM FOWLER CIVIL CONTRACTING MIDWAY BM64 HANDICAP (1100 METRES) |
---|
2. Clancy is a lightly raced metro improver who chased hard into a place at Gosford second-up. Slight drop in distance is a big plus, and drawn to stay well off the fence. 1. Against The Law won a similar race here over the same trip three starts back, and drops down now from a deeper metro race where he failed to hit the line on a heavy surface. 9. I Am A Winner is bred to thrive and can progress off a second-up maiden win in heavy going at Newcastle. 11. Tiger Town first-up behind two trials, and 12. Lady Shenanigans trained on the track; head the rest at bigger odds.
How to play it: Clancy to win
