The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail out 8m the entire circumference.

2. Man Of Worth is a sparingly raced import, and one of six accepted from the Chris Waller stable, primed to break through third-up. Did his best work late when resuming for only his second Australian run before settling too close at Canterbury a week ago when hard in the market. Up to the mile on a bigger track is the right recipe for one who is bred to get further. Stablemate 5. Konsa will appreciate further at his third start after hitting the line late at Warwick Farm. 3. Pour Benn is a lightly raced improver back on dry ground and drawn inside at big odds. 1. Cathedral Cove is working towards a breakthrough win coming to the city off two solid closing runs at the provincials, although has a task drawn wide.

13. Snitzel Miss is bursting to break through fourth-up for the Waller camp. Ran home okay at Canterbury first-up before being beaten a whisker at Warwick Farm when looking to have the race sewn up. Tricky draw in the big field, but she's hard fit and will appreciate getting on to a bigger circuit. 12. Performance wasn't far off a smart one on debut at Canterbury after being backed from $3.40 into $2.70, but drawn wide here in a field with more depth. 1. Agraffe Rocket is a colt by Graf and big market watch on debut for the Kris Lees stable behind two solid provincial trials. 5. Makhachev, a stablemate of the top selection, re-loads off a fair debut run on the Kensington track three weeks back. Gap to the rest.

3. Green Spring is a talented and lightly raced improver in a strong metropolitan yard, and superior value in a very open race. Resumes off a 12 week spell from a good draw behind a soft trial. 6. Cellarmaster is a lightly raced improver who worked home when fresh on the Kensington track. Looking for more ground and winkers go on. Keep safe 14. You Sexy Thing who finished well in a handy Super Maiden a fortnight back, and drawn to get a soft run. 7. Explicit second-up with key gear changes, along with 13. Tinklejazz, who hit the line hard at her second start; can both add value into exotic plays.

5. Beside The Ocean is another emerging filly in the Waller stable, resuming off two easy trials. Made a big impression in a one-off fresh run in heavy going at Warwick Farm in late winter, careering away to win by nearly four lengths, and is drawn to dictate. 1. Straand Beauty is a tough on-speed sprinter who made solid progress last prep, winning a provincial BM 64 before a break. Has a smart fresh record, and fitted with two improving trials, although has also accepted for Saturday. 3. Stormland is a big market watch resuming as a gelding behind two trials. 6. Da Snoop Dog who won a Sunshine Coast maiden on debut, and 7. Royal Air Force with multiple gear changes via a soft trial; head the rest.

8. Indefensible is a progressive mare in the Joe Pride stable who can go back to back stepping up from a fast-finishing third-up win in BM 72 grade. Had something in hand that day, and parked on the same 54kg limit weight, she can measure up further being saved for the last shot. Preferred in this to an easier race on the program, is a further strong pointer. 2. Power Of The Brave is a tough provincial sprinter who must be respected, having been beaten by under two lengths in consecutive BM 72s at Canterbury. This is deeper, but he gets a 3.5kg weight drop after the jockey's claim. 1. Silentsar is over the odds first-up from the inside barrier, with blinkers coming off; while 4. Extravagant Lad can run into the minor money.

10. Mamushka is a smart home track mare returning off an 11 week break. Placed all three starts last prep around this level, despite having some tough runs, and she looks ready to rock against her own sex after trucking through the line to win a recent trial. 8. Sequista is a promising filly, and was a class above her maiden rivals at Gosford, sweeping home to win by a huge margin. Back in town, but wouldn't be diving into too short a price in a testing and wide race. Was scratched from Saturday's Randwick meeting to run here. 9. Written Scandal hasn't been far away in her last two, but was never effective being ridden in front last start, and better off taking a trail with cover. 12. Chix is a market watch after winning on debut at the provincials as a hot favourite. 11. Piperita is the best of the rest third-up.

5. Tavi Time is a talented provincial closer who can pounce in the feature at good odds and deep into his prep. Worked home okay in a Group 3 over a mile before finishing late through traffic in Yorkshire's Group 2-The Ingham win. Naturally rises in weight, but he's bursting for this distance and from a low economical draw, can be ridden quietly again and be saved up for one final burst. 7. Shangri La Spring is a tough and well weighted front-runner trained on the course. Was only run down late in a Listed feature and has since bolted in a trial. Will take some catching. 1. Estadio Mestalla is high class, but climbs sharply in weight coming back from a terrific closing effort in that same Group 2 as the top selection. Suited up to this journey, but will need a soft run. 3. Major Beel reloads four weeks between runs via a trial after finishing best to beat Shangri La Spring at Listed level. Watch the betting on 10. Imperialist who has trialled since dropping out behind Major Beel when failing to stretch out at any time during the run. 4. Unspoken can run into the minor money four weeks between runs via a soft trial.

8. Off The Press is a consistent Canberra sprinter who missed narrowly in a BM 72 two starts ago before dropping in grade and scoring his sixth win from just 14 starts. Tougher here but drawn to get a cosy run, and is well over the odds in what is a weakened race. 10. Cross Tasman is a locally-trained four-year-old who resumed with a strong win. On the rise, but this is harder, and he shapes under the odds from a wide draw. 4. Engine Room can run a big race fresh at good odds behind two progressive trials; while 9. Smashing Time is the best of the rest fourth-up with gear changes.
