Licensed Trainer Kim Waugh Fined $4000

Racing NSW Stewards today conducted an inquiry into the analysts finding of salicylic acid in a pre-race blood sample taken from Vila Tinto prior to running at the Canterbury Park race meeting on 26 February 2021.

Evidence was taken from Mrs Kim Waugh, trainer of Vila Tinto, who was assisted by solicitor Mr Wayne Pasterfield, Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory (ARFL) Science Manager, Dr Adam Cawley and Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig.
