Licensed Trainer Jarrod Austin Fined $5000

Racing NSW Stewards have conducted an inquiry into the Analysts’ findings of meloxicam in a pre-race blood sample taken from Nikohli Beagle prior to the gelding winning Race 4 (Midway Handicap, 1500m) conducted on the Kensington Track on 1 January 2022.

Evidence was taken from trainer of Nikohli Beagle, Jarrod Austin, Managing Owner of Nikohli Beagle, James Critchley, Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig and ARFL Science Manager, Dr Adam Cawley.
