Licensed Trainer Jarrod Austin Fined $5000

Racing NSW Stewards today conducted an inquiry into the Analysts’ findings of meloxicam in a pre-race blood sample taken from Nikohli Beagle prior to the gelding winning Race 4 (Midway Handicap) conducted at the Kensington Track meeting on 1 January 2022.

Evidence was today taken from trainer of Nikohli Beagle, Jarrod Austin, Managing Owner of Nikohli Beagle, James Critchley, Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig and ARFL Science Manager, Dr Adam Cawley.
