Racing NSW Stewards have conducted an inquiry into an allegation that licensed trainer David Pfieffer had substituted a urine sample provided to Racing NSW Stewards on 24 April 2019.

The sample was directed to be taken from Mr Pfieffer and a number of his stable staff following an irregularity (below the screening limit) being found in an equine sample from a horse trained by Mr Pfieffer.

Further, Stewards also considered an allegation that Mr Pfieffer had failed to report to the Stewards that the racehorses Famous and Zouspectre, which were trained by Mr Pfieffer, had blood present at their nostril which was not reported to Stewards.
