Licensed Jockey Blake Shinn Lodges Appeal
Blake Shinn Licensed jockey Blake Shinn has lodged an appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Pariah in Race 7 (De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose, Group 1-1400m) at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, 23 September 2017.
Mr Shinn was suspended for a period commencing Monday, 2 October 2017 and to expire on Friday, 20 October 2017 on which day he may ride. This appeal is set down for hearing on Thursday, 28 September 2017 at 9.30am at the offices of Racing NSW.
