Kinda Tangy In Three-Way Tussle For NSW Picnic Champion Series

By Mark Brassel

Kinda Tangy's length win in last Saturday's Yass Picnic Cup (1400m) has shot him up the charts to be equal leader in the inaugural NSW Picnic Champion Series.

The five-year-old (Billy Owen, $3.50 favourite) carried the steadier of 65kg in defeating Liabilityadjuster (Samara Johnson, $6.50) with The Real McCoy (Michael Gray, $15) a further short-half head away in third berth.

Stradance (17 points) is now joined by Kinda Tangy and Sergeant Bilko, the latter unplaced at Yass but picking up two points to move alongside the other pair.

All horses except Maidens are eligible to qualify (Clubs must be affiliated with the NSW Picnic Racing Association and use Approved Riders).
