James McDonald (Autumn Glow): “There is no bottom to her. Everyone probably thought she was gone but I said to John before the race all I want to do is let her breeze up one and that is all she did.

“She didn’t have to improve much. She has always shown so much. The thing is we haven’t even scratched the surface in terms of putting her under a lot of pressure.

“Whatever she has done so far, Chris has just wrapped her in cotton wool. She is doing it all on her own. When she starts with the sword put to her, she will respond really well. She is that type of horse. She has got no pain barrier.”

Autumn Glow wins the Toy Show

Tyler Schiller (Gangsta Granny): “Terrific run. Take nothing away from the winner who is a super filly but I thought my filly was very gallant in defeat. Felt like she kicked hard and fought it out right to the finish.”

Tim Clark (Hi Dubai): “She ran excellently. Probably a career PB for her. Had the right conditions but credit to the team for presenting her in such good order.”

Chad Schofield (Shohisha): “She ran very well. First up, Heavy 10 off no trials. Thought she did a very good job to run fourth over a distance that is too short.”

Ashley Morgan (Shesallshenanigans): “Ran really well. Ready to win probably in an easier race.”

Dylan Gibbons (Cigar Flick): “She loves the wet and landed in a great spot. Probably hit one too many rough patches. It just dented her confidence.”

Rachel King (Bonita Queen): “Didn’t handle that heavy at all. She is much better than that.”

Jay Ford (Imposant): “She was OK. Hitting this sort of track first up is not ideal but she will strip fitter.”
