Zac Lloyd (Gangsta Granny) : “Yeah, that was super, really tough. As you know, it's very hard for those horses to be tacking up to that hot speed; albeit, we had the fence, which was a massive help.

“But that electric speed was always going to set it up for the backmarkers, and she got there at 200m and she had to stay in front for 200m.

“A very good horse challenged her and credit to her, I thought she was gone the last 50, but she actually fought back, which was really good to see.

“Yeah at the 100m I thought I'm going too slowly to be winning, but I must say, I think as soon as she saw that horse in her peripheral vision she just fought again.”

Reece Jones (Dark Glitter): “She went super. A long way off them. Rattled home with a bit of a chequered path. She is going well.”

Ashley Morgan (Overriding): “She is flying. Just looking for 1400m. We had to bring her back to 12[00] with nothing around. Once she gets to 14, she is in career best.”

Regan Bayliss (Lady Extreme): “Really good run. A good honest filly.”

Rachel King (Bonita Queen): “She is very fast. Probably too fast for 1200m.”

Andrew Adkins (Cosmonova): “She was brave enough. Just felt that very fast tempo took that turn of foot away from her. Was trying to ride a race on her but also making sure she can finish at her best. It was a very fast gallop and took that sprint away.”

Tommy Berry (Bauhinia): “Blew the start and ran into the race quite nicely. Had no luck though.”

Tyler Schiller (Husk): “She was brave. Just the barrier probably made it a bit tougher today.”
