Race 1 Number 6 – Merryll’s Choice: Slow to begin and was then restrained from the wide barrier to take up a position at the rear of the field. Passing the 200 metres, when giving ground, bumped and became momentarily unbalanced. (Moe 19/10/17)
Race 6 Number 1 – Warrigal Mac: Proved difficult to load, delaying the start. Trainer was advised that before the gelding would be permitted to race again it must perform to the satisfaction of Stewards in an official trial. Since passed trial Cranbourne 23/10/17. (Bairnsdale 8/10/17)
