Race 2, Horse – 5. The Veal Thing (Wangaratta 5/3/17): Change of tactics: further back due to wide barrier draw caught wide after beginning well was and as a result settled in a better than midfield position.

Race 7, Horse – 10. Feelin The Love (NZ) (Pakenham 25/1/17): Commenced awkwardly. When being restrained passing the 1000m, got its head up. Raced wide without cover from the 800m.

Race 9, Horse – 3. Dissolute (Moonee Valley 10/2/17): Under pressure from the 400m before being eased down from the entrance to the straight. Rider could offer no explanation for the poor performance but said the gelding had a good run in transit but when placed under pressure did not respond. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities and a swab sample was taken for analysis.
